Note from Marconi:-

We have very carefully considered the running of our Marconi Gig Race event 16th January.

We would want our event to be an enjoyable, safe and fair event for the rowing teams and our own mix of club members that would feel obliged to run the event.

So unfortunately I must advise that we would rather everyone enjoys a memorable Marconi event next year and so will have to cancel this years Marconi event.

Cancellation in advance gives everyone as much notice as possible and means we would also not seek to make any event cancellation cost claims on HYGA.

Perhaps you might take the opportunity to organise something different such as an adventure row on that date instead
